Remy Garderet - Managing Director, Foundations

At UpMetrics, Remy serves as a strategic partner to foundations and investors, helping them use UpMetrics' impact analytics platform to centralize their data, gain insights and share them with partners. Excited by the company's mission, Remy loves helping our partners drive impact and tell their stories more effectively. 

Prior to joining the team, Remy co-founded Fish 2.0, a global accelerator for sustainable seafood investment. Remy has cared deeply about climate change related challenges for many years, and has spent most of his career developing sustainability-oriented strategies and programs for foundations, investors, and businesses, with a special focus on renewables, clean transportation, and sustainable food systems. He holds an M.A. in Economics and Energy/Environment Policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a B.A. in Communications & Latin American Studies from Stanford University. 

Remy recently relocated to the Miami area, where he loves the international community and outdoors, ocean-focused life--he can often be found paddle boarding at sunrise on the ocean. He currently serves on the board of Energy Independence Now, a nonprofit focused on clean transport, and participates in South Florida initiatives on vehicle electrification and resiliency against sea level rise.
