Megan CostelloDirector of Client Success
Megan brings over 14 years of experience building and scaling client success and account management teams in venture backed, high-growth SaaS companies. Prior to joining UpMetrics, Megan was the Director of Strategic Projects at Panorama Education, a SaaS company that provides a data analytics platform and professional development services to K – 12 school districts. Megan joined as the 6th employee, and the first dedicated member of the CS team. During her time there, the company grew from 8 to 150 employees in 6 years. As the Director of Strategic Projects, Megan led cross-functional initiatives to build new products and scale delivery, including leading the rollout of the company’s updated SaaS platform. She also managed strategic partnerships with content providers for SEL curriculum. Prior to this role, Megan was the Director of Client Success, where her team partnered with 3 out of the top 10 School districts in US and ~30 of top 100.
Preceding her time at Panorama Education, Megan held multiple leadership roles, including SVP, Global Customer Experience and VP, Client Services & Operations, at Crimson Hexagon, which provides SaaS-based social media analytics, big data solutions and consulting services to Fortune 1000 brands, PR agencies and media organizations. While at Crimson, Megan built out the account management, support and consulting functions for the company, and managed the roll out with several marquee clients including Microsoft, Twitter, United Nations Global Pulse, US Department of State, NBC, and CNN for live coverage during State of the Union, as well as several market research organizations. She also had the opportunity to present at South by Southwest on the topic of how to use social media analysis to support marketing campaigns and market research. Megan brings to UpMetrics an expertise in building and scaling the Client Success function in early-stage SaaS companies, as well as in hiring and staffing diverse teams. Megan is passionate about building software and service offerings that meet client needs. During her free time she likes to cycle, watch the Green Bay Packers, and travel. Megan completed her undergraduate from Wheaton College, and she received her Masters in International Relations & International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and her MBA from the University of Oxford Saïd Business School. |
