Elaine Viceda - Product Marketing ManagerAs the Product Marketing Manager, Elaine is helping establish UpMetrics' first product marketing function, which focuses on brand positioning, identifying pain points both for current clients and future prospects, and determining the ideal customer profile by vertical. This role perfectly blends her interests in the social sector with her professional experience in product marketing. The many years she spent managing CRMs for various nonprofits gives her a unique perspective on the typical UpMetrics customer experience, and it excites her to be able to incorporate the customer voice into our business strategy. Elaine graduated from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where she studied Bio-molecular Science and concentrated on Biotechnology. Elaine has held fundraising operations and marketing roles mostly in the nonprofit space for the last 7 years. Prior to UpMetrics, Elaine served as the database liaison for Junior Achievement of New York, provided product consulting for small start-ups, and also co-founded a creative media studio, focused on helping diverse artists and where she heads all product marketing work. Elaine moved to New York for college and has not left since. She and her boyfriend, a New York native, share a life goal of giving back to the communities around them. She loves New York City’s diversity of cultures, boundless energy, and the resilience of its people, making it a truly unique place to live. She is deeply passionate about social justice issues and has nurtured relationships with local activists and organizers helping improve lives since first becoming involved in community outreach in college. Elaine has served in school club leadership positions and volunteered for local clean-ups and soup kitchens. Before the pandemic, she used to volunteer heavily at her church but lately has found alternate ways to help her community through giving funds online and sharing resources with her network. |
