Alyssa Armstead - Talent Acquisition Coordinator

​As our Talent Acquisition Coordinator on our People Operations team, Alyssa is helping UpMetrics bring in new and diverse talents so she is excited to focus on sourcing a diverse pipeline for our various positions. This role perfectly matches her passion for social justice and DEIA with her interests in human resources.

Alyssa recently graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Human Relations Administration and minors in Africana Studies and Organizational & Community Leadership. She has had Human Resources experience in a variety of industries including Real Estate, Manufacturing, and Nonprofits so she happy to get a new start in Tech. Throughout her previous roles, she mainly focused on recruiting, onboarding, and implementing learning management systems.

Currently, Alyssa lives in Delaware where she loves the community. She has been involved in a variety of service opportunities such as removing invasive species from an elementary school to building houses for those without homes, and even running a service organization at her alma mater. She is honored to have been a part of a community that has many opportunities to learn more about social issues with a variety of organizations that help individuals who are impacted by them. Yet, after four years, Alyssa is looking to leave Delaware and travel for some time before deciding where to settle down next!
